The Golden Globes 2012

The Golden Globes. What I like to think of as the official kick off to awards season, was held last night at the Beverly Hilton to a star studded feast.

The glam, the celebrities, the red carpet arrivals were all exciting and if you missed any of it, following are few pictures to give you an idea of what the excitement was all about.

Paula Patton is beautiful in anything she wears and this yellow on the red carpet added boldness and a pop of color.  

Octavia Spencer, so love her (and she won)! Whoever her stylist is they are doing a great job in placing her in dresses that compliment her skin and curves.  I love this color on her.  She looked elegant. 

Nicole Kidman's dress was nice, but the color was all wrong for her.  It washed her out because of her skin tone.  If it was in a jewel toned color, it would have worked. 

Love Kate Winslet! Her gown was classy. 

Jessica Alba's gown was one of my favorites. The color against her glowing skin, the hair and accessories made the perfect match.

Good ol' George Cloony and his lady love, Stacy Keibler, looked happy on the carpet.  A good-looking couple.  

Charliez Theron is one of the top five on my favorite female actresses list and she looked beautiful.  She had this fresh, running in a field of daises look that made her glow. 

Sophia worked it!  The fish tail look seemed to be big on the red carpet. I wonder what gown she will wear next.

Viola!  Yeah, she's on my top five list as well and she looked beautiful showing some leg. She worked it!

Brad and Angie are just that Hollywood couple that makes you sigh.  Not only are they a good-looking couple but they give back in so many ways that it makes them even more attractive.
