This is not my home office, but oh how I wish it was! The great thing about looking at design and decorating ideas is that it allows your own creative juices to flow in making your own space unique and special to who you are.
I came upon these photos reading Ambition Bliss blog and fell in love with the comforting colors of chocolate, cream and Tiffany blue. Taken by photographer Katelyn James, the placement of the room is also conducive to having the flow of the room...well...flow, so that everything has its rightful place and the energy of the room is bright, airy and makes you want to build bridges and tear down walls as you make those power moves.
Moving into my new place has its perks. I get to shop and decorate; two of my favorite pastimes that I obviously inherited from my mother. As I visit places like Pier One, World Market, Ikea and Home Depot over the next few weeks, I'm sure the excitement of putting my own special touch to my living space will be a joyful journey to experience. Can't wait!
