A year ago I was faithfully on my water intake. I was successfully drinking a gallon of water a day (yeah...I know). Thing is when I was drinking this amount of water it made a difference in my skin, weight, and clarity. Well, I'm back on it because I have slacked off something wicked and could feel the difference with how I was feeling. It took some getting used to because that first day had me running back and forth to the lou, but now I think my body has gotten use to it so the shock has worn off.
Many people ask how do I drink that much water in a day. It's simple when you are able to carry or have it with you. I have a half gallon water bottle like the one above which you can find at Wal-Mart, Target or K-Mart and I fill it up with purified water twice a day. The key for me is to start my water intake once I wake up and drink it throughout the day without having to feel like I'm forcing it. Another thing that I do, is I've eliminated drinking anything other than water or herbal tea. So when I have lunch or dinner, I'm drinking one or the other and with breakfast I'm usually having green tea.
If you're not a water drinker or find that you aren't getting in the recommended daily amount, start small and build up to what your body can handle. Believe me, your body will tell you when enough is enough. If not a gallon, try a half a gallon or whatever feels comfortable for you. Everyone is different and only you know what will work for you.
